The Stepping Stones Marketing Review
Even the best run marketing functions and processes benefit from a high quality review
The scope of the review and participation can be agreed, but you gain a competent external point of view, insightful and actionable recommendations that reduce costs and improve efficiency and effectiveness, and you save time to get on with your priorities.
We offer an exceptional and cost-effective service. Compare this with the norm:
- Led by a former marketing director and professor of integrated marketing, who has undertaken dozens of reviews and business coaching with major brands and agencies
- World class experience in CRM and integrated marketing, with expertise in digital and social media, and substantial experience in coaching and advising marketing performance
- Track record with major organisations and brands – including an IBM global review of their brand system and its scalability to achieve first in class (see below)
- Takes a systemic approach, considering people and performance to optimise recommendations
- Precise resolutions of intractable problems
- Constructive, actionable and incisive, cost-effective and quick.
Examples
IBM (2010-11)

We were asked by IBM’s Worldwide VP of Brand System and Workforce Enablement, Kevin Bishop, to provide a comprehensive review of the global scalability of the IBM Brand System and the approach currently being taken to engage 400,000+ IBMers around the world.
Recommendations for improvement were based on a thorough examination of the worldwide state of play and resulted in what was described in 2011 as “a potentially game changing set of initiatives and new approaches”.
UNICEF (2011)
UNICEF wanted its various communication functions to work more closely together while achieving greater clarity on brand, relationships with stakeholder segments, communication strategy and integrated process.
They asked for a participative review of their operations, collaboration and working concepts.
As a result of this, the internal organisation and fundamental processes have been changed, responsibilities clarified, integrated working put in place, a clear and inspiring understanding of the brand and organisation at its best has been formulated using Stellar.
According to Cathy Keable Elliot, then Communications Director and Project Leader at UNICEF UK: “We could not have moved forward without you. You were the catalyst for what we achieved!”
