Strategy is the process of gaining advantage for your resources.
True strategy derives from the unique identity and purpose of the
organisation followed by imaginative observation of the business
landscape, finding elevated contours where others only see bogs
and plains.
In an assignment for a major American PC brand, we worked the pressures
of tumbling prices and commoditised competition.
Close observation and intense research and analysis led to a fresh
way to view their world. By starting with the customers’ drivers
of value, and their real lifetime value to the company, two dramatic
insights were gained.
The result turned problems into real advantages and designed product
strategies that a few months later had Wall Street buzzing.
