Integrating everyone
A major PR firm asked us to work with them on a process
to become a high performing team.
First we conducted social and performance audit, a research based
approach to identifying breakthrough requirements.
Then we facilitated personal development and group planning sessions
with the directors. These transformed their inter-personal working
and led them to shared priorities. Once they were working together
effectively, breakthrough ideas for the business emerged that included
new ways of partnering with other parts of the firm, new client
service solutions and a new charter for team work.
Then we created a large group event for all employees.
This involved hiring a theatre for a day during which everyone
from the different offices met together in a high energy series
of participative exercises. Some sessions involved large group dialogue
on the strategy and future of the company, others used creative
problem solving and decision making in breakout groups.
People met each other in ways that broke through old barriers identified
the changes that were needed, and formed teams to manage the key
improvement plans for clients, staff and company.
We then supported the responsible teams with their implementation
plans.
